Matthew and Thomas

Matthew and Thomas are our twin sons who both have Down syndrome.

Matt and Tom began when we designed and made a plywood Christmas tree for at home.  After some interest from friends we made a small batch of trees and sold them.  We realised this could be a way to provide Matthew and Thomas with meaningful activities now they have finished school.  

We decided that decorations would add another dimension to the business so did some research on sustainable ethical decorations.  Decorations made in Nepal by women in safe employment, using New Zealand was the perfect fit for Matt and Tom.  

We are now adding some custom designed New Zealand Native Manu - birds to our store.

We encourage Matthew and Thomas be involved in any way that they can. Matthew loves packing and dispatching orders!
